Our story began with a simple desire to give back to our community and support those in need of care and companionship.
As we witnessed the challenges faced by families caring for their loved ones, we knew that we had a responsibility to step up and provide meaningful and compassionate support. With this goal in mind, we started Elouera Home Support in July 2022 with a commitment to delivering high-quality home care services that our clients could rely on.
As we grow and expand our services to better meet the evolving needs of our clients, our mission remains the same – to provide dependable and personalised in-home support services that promote a better quality of life for our clients and their families.
Today, we are proud to be a positive influence in our community, supporting people to live healthier, more fulfilling lives, and to remain connected with their community. OUR INSPIRATION
The Story Behind The Logo
Our logo captures the essence of our community, uniting our team, industry partners, clients, and their families. The figures embracing within a circle symbolise our empowered community, while the ocean, mountains, and sun within reflect the serene Illawarra Escarpment – a tribute to our name, ‘Elouera’.
“Illawarra” from which our region takes its name, is derived from the Aboriginal Dharawal language term “allowrie,” often spelled as “Elouera“.
This Aboriginal term, meaning ‘pleasant place’, aligns with our mission of creating a welcoming haven. The blue-green gradient mirrors the sea and nature’s bond, embodying our core values. Blue signifies trust and reliability, while green embodies growth and well-being. The invigorating shade of green signifies growth, rejuvenation, and sustainability – qualities that mirror our unwavering commitment to nurturing the well-being and vitality of our community.
Complementing this, the cheerful hue of yellow radiates warmth, optimism, and happiness. This reflects our aspiration to create a supportive environment where both our team members and clients feel uplifted and encouraged. This logo pays homage to the stunning Illawarra region and encapsulates our commitment to a nurturing, harmonious community through Elouera Home Support.
